How to get to Pamporovo

Pamporovo is easy to get from the town of Plovdiv. The distance is 85 km and the trip takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. There are buses and minibuses to Pamporovo starting from Rhodopi Bus Station in Plovdiv. If you head from Sofia, you can get a bus from Central Bus Station to the town of Smolyan. These buses pass through Pamporovo. The distance between Sofia and Pamporovo is 240 km and the trip takes 4 hours.

Another option is to go to Plovdiv by bus or train and then take a bus to Smolyan/Pamporovo. Traveling by car is preferable if you want to make your trip independent of schedules and times of departure, of course.
